The Mathematical Association is pleased to announce that Professor Marcus du Sautoy is its President for 2012-13. Marcus du Sautoy is the Charles Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science and Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford. He is currently an EPSRC Senior Media Fellow. Professor du Sautoy has raised the profile of Mathematics through his books, lectures and appearances on radio and television.
