The committee exists to promote the professional development of teachers of mathematics.

Most recently, the Committee has been finding ways in which we can implement the Membership survey results and feedback.

Summary:  If you are concerned about getting your students to grade 5 or indeed grade 9, then you will know that getting them reasoning as early as possible is the answer. Kate, Paul and the team at Langdon Park have been working for some years now at getting students thinking, speaking and reasoning mathematically from the start of key stage 3. Come and try out materials from their Geometric Reasoning module and take home wonderful activities to try with your students. Give your brain a good Saturday morning workout and go back refreshed with some great new ideas for your school.
