Summary/Abstract:  Appreciating multiplicative relationships is one of the challenges faced by many children.  We suspect that encountering a variety of formats for number early on could enrich children’s experience, appreciate and comprehension of number.  Participants will be invited to engage with a variety of tasks based on making sense of various number formats, providing access to topics often delayed until secondary or later

Suitable for both primary and secondary teachers of mathematics.
