Summary:        It is often useful to make sense of mathematical ideas in multiple ways. When learners have a limited view of a mathematical idea it can mean that certain questions can be difficult to understand. This session will highlight the importance of having multiple ways of making sense of a mathematical idea, and explore some particular mathematical ideas.

Venue:            School of Education, University of Birmingham, Room G39 (Ground floor, diagonally right from the lift)

Cost:               Free for MA and ATM members, £2 otherwise.
