The committee exists to promote the professional development of teachers of mathematics.

Most recently, the Committee has been finding ways in which we can implement the Membership survey results and feedback.

Getting started with virtual Manipulatives by Jonathan Hall @StudyMaths

 

The session will demonstrate how virtual manipulatives can be used to enhance your teaching of mathematics, either face-to-face or online.

We will take a look at Dienes Blocks, Fraction Walls, Prime Factor Tiles and a whole host of other tools and manipulatives that are simple to use but incredibly useful and versatile.
