The committee exists to promote the professional development of teachers of mathematics.
Most recently, the Committee has been finding ways in which we can implement the Membership survey results and feedback.

We will reflect on how mathematics can be creative and inspire and be inspired by art. We will investigate how mathematics and art are related in a variety of ways. Mathematics has itself been described as an art motivated by beauty. Mathematics can be discerned in arts such as music, dance, painting, architecture, sculpture, and textiles.
In this session we will focus in particular on the visual arts. We will demonstrate some engaging activities that we believe will inspire learners. Participants are encouraged to share their reflections and to bring any of their own activities to share.
