Do you want primary-aged children to think like mathematicians?
Join us as we explore some mathematical statements from our new book (with the same name). We will discuss how the statements can be used to encourage children to explore, test, and justify their thinking. We’ll also discuss the accompanying guidance, the manipulatives suggested and the notes provided. The focus on whether a statement is "always true," "sometimes true," or "never true" promotes critical thinking, logical reasoning, and reflection. So, let’s explore together through some of the 89 statements in the book.
This webinar is ideal for any classroom teacher, home schooler, parent or tutor wanting to stimulate mathematical thinking in their students and any educational establishment looking for a resource to complement their scheme.
