The committee exists to promote the professional development of teachers of mathematics.
Most recently, the Committee has been finding ways in which we can implement the Membership survey results and feedback.

The breakdown will compare this year’s 3 papers with recent years, focusing on mathematical strands, sub-strands and year groups, unpicking what pupils really need to be able to do to achieve the ‘Expected standard’.
This will help to guide teachers in Year 6 and across Key stage 2, to have a better understanding of the demands of this assessment and the importance of focusing on essential knowledge and skills, rather than blindly following schemes, lists, textbooks etc…
