Most recently, the Committee has been finding ways in which we can implement the Membership survey results and feedback.

Title:              Designing Tasks

Summary:      Mike will be looking at designing tasks which fit the following criteria:

  • Accessible and easily extendable thus can be used in mixed-attainment classes from KS1 to KS4.

  • Opportunities to meet the three NC (2014) aims of fluency, reasoning and solving problems.

  • Minimising didactic teaching to maximise students' learning.

All of the tasks have been used very many times, some as recent as this week, in classrooms with children and through CPD with teachers and trainee teachers.
