Most recently, the Committee has been finding ways in which we can implement the Membership survey results and feedback.

Title: Praying souls out of purgatory: ratio and proportion in the mathematics classroom

Abstract: The session will be:  A short historical introduction; general work on some intriguing problems; paired work using a novel way of checking answers; making an old mathematical instrument based on ratio and some geometry; participants working through some enrichment materials ratio and proportion. 

There will be plenty of resources to take away.  (The session is also suitable for sixth form students.)
