Potential Plus UK 23 February 2021
Surrey Explorers began in 1980 as a group of parents who found themselves with of sons and daughters with inexhaustible thirsts for learning and mental challenge.
Now a branch of the National Assoc. for Gifted Children, rebranded PPUK, it serves London and the South East running workshops and talks -the most popular being maths.
Currently on zoom, meetings attract around 30 highly motivated, self-selected, responsive children. We are looking for mathematicians to pass on their knowledge and enthusiasm, for a fee. No teaching experience needed.
Past topics have been Number Theory, Exponentials, How to be Brilliant at Arithmetic and other niches neglected by the school curriculum.
